On hosting and working with Young Visitors in the Workshops at The Royal Malvern Show

‘Thank you so much for the update. I have shown the pictures to the children involved and have let them know the dates in case any of them want to visit the exhibition in Brecon.

It was lovely to meet you and the team and to see your amazing work and commitment.

Kind regards,

Louise’

In November 2025, the donkeys that had visited the QRH appeared, by association, at The Lord Leycester’s Christmas event – Warwick’s Victorian Evening

‘I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all involved in making last night’s Donkeys in the Courtyard, coinciding with Warwick’s Victorian Evening, such a smash hit.

This was a fantastic collaborative effort and it simply couldn’t have happened without you . . .

The Donkey Breed Society: Emma and the brilliant handlers who looked after Pooka and Donald so beautifully. They were the absolute stars of the evening and captured so many hearts!

Andy, Sofia and the QRH volunteers: for running your fantastic stall, supporting us throughout the evening, and once again connecting us with Emma and the handling team.

‘Dear Andy and Sarah,

Many thanks to you both. I’m so pleased it went well. It looks like a fantastic event and exactly the sort of thing that a Cavalry Regiment should be doing! I look forward to hearing a full debrief next week.

Thanks again,

Colonel Alex Wilson

QRH Museum Director’
